The Research Center of Intelligent Robotics (RCIR), approved by the Project 985, was established in 2000. At present there are 15 faculty members in this Center, gathered together from Lab of Robotics and Automation, Institute of Precise Engineering and Intelligent Micro-System, and The Research Institute of Micro/Naro Science and Technology in Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
